Dale Sieman, 81, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019 at home.
Born Jan. 1, 1938 in Menominee, to the late Adolph and Adele (Cootware) Sieman, he graduated from Menominee High School in 1956 and served in the United States Navy on the USS Essex and USS Oriskinay. On May 13, 1994, he married Joanne Sieth in Menominee.
A member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the American Legion in Menominee, he also volunteered at Bay Area Medical Center. He was self employed as a painter and sandblaster and enjoyed gardening, painting, woodworking and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; children, Kevin Sieman, Carrie (Steve) Sobay and Shelley (Mike Klatt) Schomer, all of Menominee, Jennifer Moustafa of Menasha and Ann (Brad) Spross of Wausau; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Kevin Havelka of Menominee; a brother, Adolph (Joanne) Sieman and a sister, Mae Sandoval.
He was preceded in death by four siblings, Richard, Fred, Myrtle and Bev and a great-grandchild.
Per his wishes, a private family gathering was held. Anderson Kell Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family.
