Approximately 100 people were on hand for the Sanctity of Human Life Rally Sunday, Jan. 19 in Menominee. The message for the rally was Pro-Life, for the protection of unborn babies is Pro-Woman and abortion affects the emotional and physical well-being of a woman. Sanctity of Human Life Rally in Menominee Jan. 19

Over 100 people attended the annual Sanctity of Human Life Rally held on the steps of the Menominee County Courthouse on Sunday, Jan. 19.
The 1 p.m. program was sponsored by Bay Area Pregnancy Service.
Mary Kay Patz, Bay Area Pregnancy Services (BAPS) Board President greeted the crowd and presented Michael Ebert, former Board President with a plaque for his service to Bay Area Pregnancy Services. Sara Lee Paul, BAPS Director, also spoke on the protection of unborn babies and Pro-Life is Pro-Woman. Pastor Tim Hawthorn of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Marinette, gave the invocation and prayer.
After the rally those attending were invited across the street to Holy Spirit Church for refreshments and snacks provided by Life Core, and an inspirational interfaith prayer service to end abortion with the message delivered by Audra Buchmiller, Director of Pregnancy Services of Delta County.
Bay Area Pregnancy Services Board of Directors include Sara Lee Paul, Executive Director, Mary Kay Patz, Board President, Lynette McMahon, Jo Piantine and Barbara Paradis, and Advisory Board consists of Michael Palid, Kim Duffrin and Michael Evert.
