Donald P. Randerson, 83, of Crooked Lake, passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020.
Born March 8, 1936, to the late Melvin and Martha (Stiljes) Randerson, he served in the United States Army in the mid 1950's and married Joyce Lewins on April 19, 1958. He worked at Fort Howard for many years. In 1971, they moved their family to Crooked Lake and he worked at John Hogan and later Northeast Asphalt laying black top, from where he retired.
After retirement, they took several trips to Canada fishing and he enjoyed deer hunting in Newald with his nephews.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; four daughters, Cindy (Mark) Steffeck, Vickie (Del) Gardebrecht, Patti (Ken) School and Deb "Otter" Randerson; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice May and many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by special friends, Walter Remic and Gary Wallenkamp.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020 at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring from 9 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Mountain Cemetery in Spring.
