Dona Fern (Fitzpatrick) Wolf, 83, passed away Wednesday, March 11 at CMH in Bolivar surrounded by family.
Born Nov. 29, 1936 in Berwyn, Ill., where she lived with her parents, Glenn and Hazel Fitzpatrick, and a sister, Glenna, she married Walter Wolf on June 11, 1973 and they lived in Joliet, Ill., before moving to Polk, Mo. in 1980.
They owned and operated Wolf's County Store for many years before retiring to Pomme de Terre Lake. After he passed away in 2015, she moved to Bolivar where she volunteered at CMH for several years.
She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and was also a great friend. She enjoyed aerobics and Tai Chi at the Senior Citizen Center with friends, gathering with the ladies from the Red Hat Mamas Club, fishing at the lake, planting flowers, shopping for clothes, going to her grandchildren's events and time with family. She loved unconditionally and made everyone smile. She was loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include seven children, Wayne and Natalie Wolf, Scott and Gina Wolf, Kelley Keen, Dawn and Marty Kowalczyk, Franklin Fail, Nancy and Jesse Flores and Karen Scheer; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Glenna Zvolsky; two nephews Raymond and Tom and a niece, Liz and their families.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, March 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Holden Cremation and Funeral Service of Sparta, Mo. assisted the family with arrangements.
