Kenneth J. Johnson, 67, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at his home.
Born Feb. 11, 1953 in Milwaukee, to James and Pauline (Riecica) Johnson, he moved to Franklin. Later in life, he met his future wife, Deanna and they moved to Greenfield. They were married for 44 years. He worked for Briggs and Stratton where he retired from and they then moved to Porterfield.
He enjoyed hunting, shooting the breeze, having cookouts with family and driving his tractor and ATV on the family land.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Deanna; two children, Jennifer Lynn Johnson and Jeffrey James Johnson; three grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Cat; six siblings, Ronald (Marilyn) Johnson, Gerald Johnson, Carol (George) Lebich, Thomas (Norene) Johnson, Laurie (Brian) Johnson and Dawn Johnson; several nieces and nephews and lifelong friends, Kathy (Dave) Bobo and Opie, Ken (Jane) Teske and Donald Zubek.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Johnson and two sisters in-law, Lois Johnson and Nancy Klasen. Due to the current pandemic, no formal funeral service will be held.
Per his wishes, a small family memorial cookout will be held at a future date in summer at their home in Porterfield for family and old time friends. Burial will take place in Harmony Cemetery. Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home of Peshtigo is assisting the family.
