David "Rabbit" Bublitz, age 75, of Crivitz, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 with his family by his side.
He was born to the late Alfred and Ester Bublitz on February 5, 1945. He graduated from German Town High School in 1963. After school he was drafted into the United States Army and he served in Okinawa for 2 years. David married the love of his life, Mary Motto on July 31, 1971. He worked at the Patz Company for over 31 years.
David loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and cutting wood. He enjoyed spending time in Eagle River.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary; two sons, Rob (Kathy) and Tim (Rachel) Bublitz; three grandchildren, Robert, Elizabeth and Addison and two great-grandchildren, Bella and Gunnar; four brothers, Bob (Evie), Jack (MaryJean), Allen (Tricia) and Kenny Bublitz; two sisters, Barbara (Leroy) Guetzke and Patricia Kohlbeck and numerous nieces; nephews and many great friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Dianne Wick.
Celebration of Life to be held at Tim Bublitz residence at N7909 Kenny Drive, Crivitz on Sunday, June 14 from 2-4PM. The service will be at 4PM with Pastor Paul Hueter officiating. Drinks and food will be provided. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz is assisting the family.
