Issue Date: June 17, 2020
Wendy Strem, 69, of Milwaukee, formerly of Menominee, Mi., passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020.
Born Oct. 14, 1950, she graduated with honors from Michigan State University in 1972 and began a long career in education at Okemos, Mi., Midland, Mi. and Menominee, Mi., retiring in 1996. Her distinguished career in teaching and guidance counseling touched many young lives as did her professionalism.
She moved to the Milwaukee area to be near her daughter, Sara and family and enjoyed her grandchildren and many kittens. She loved sunny days, nature, reading and everything about teaching, but most of all, her students. Her sense of humor, determination and daily pep talks will be missed.

Along with her parents, Arnold and Elaine Strem, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Strem of Menominee.
A private service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Krause Funeral Home/Informed Choice of Milwaukee is assisting the family. More information is available at Informedchoice.org
