Josephine Mary (Moker) Massey, 102, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020.
Born June 8, 1918 in Menominee, Mi., to the late John and Josephine (Frank) Moker, she attended school in Pinewoods. She married Clarence Massey on July 8, 1939 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1991.
A member of Resurrection Parish in Menominee, she was also a past member of The Legion of Mary. She was a homemaker and loved to go dancing, tend to her garden and spend time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol (Kenneth) Krozel; a son, Clarence (Marlene) Massey; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Katie Beyer and many family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Clarence she was preceded in death by five sisters, Anna, Mary, Hellen, Betty and Marge and three brothers, Steve, Charlie and John Moker.
Visitation will take place at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee on Friday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection Parish in Menominee at 11 a.m. Fr. Brian Gerber will preside and burial will be in Birch Creek Cemetery.
