James Ricky Houle, 60, of Stephenson, Mi., passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 in Chicago, Ill.
Born Nov. 11, 1959 in Ingalls, Mi., to James and Shirley Mae (Corey) Houle, he married the former Cynthia Stitzman on Aug. 14, 1999 in Menominee, Mi. He drove truck for many years and was currently employed by Wangerin Trucking.
He enjoyed muscle cars, going to the St. Ignace truck show and letting everyone know "I have more miles going backwards than you have going forward." Spending time with his family is what he enjoyed most. A kind hearted person, he was loved by many.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy; eight children, Megan (Logan Buss) Walker, Ricki, Danielle, Steven, Tavia, Phillip (Mallory), Matthew (Krista) and Rachel; 21 grandchildren; a special grandson and little buddy, Anthony James Stacey; a sister, Wendy (Roy) Kurtz; an uncle, Bob (Barb) Houle and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and uncles.
Visitation will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson on Friday, June 19 from 4 p.m. until time of the service at 7 p.m., with Pastor Scott Ehle officiating.
