Daniel Harold Ellis, 27, of Menominee, Mi., passed away unexpectedly due to an automobile accident on June 14, 2020.
Born May 20, 1993 to David and Tina (Klatt) Ellis, he graduated from Menominee High School and was known to be a hard worker. He will forever be remembered for his kind heart, the hugs he gave so freely and his ever-ready willingness to help anyone in need.
Anyone that knew him, knew the love, pride and the joy he felt for his son, Chancelor. A part of him will always live on through his son. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and spending quality time at camp with his Grandpa Klatt, who lovingly referred to him as his "little buddy".
He is survived by his son, Chance; his parents, David and Tina Ellis; a brother, Andrew Ellis; grandparents, Norbert and Elaine Klatt and grandfather, William Buzard, all of Menominee; many close friends; aunts; uncles and cousins and close family friends, Phil and Sharon Barker.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Dan Ellis and Dawn Buzard and great-grandparents, Harold and Laverne Klatt, Walter and Laverne Lentz and AnnaMae Bruso.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 20 at Cadieu Funeral Home, 549 Tenth Avenue, Menominee from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Any acts of kindness or sympathy can be directed to his parents, David or Tina.
