Jean Marie (Menard ) (Paulsen) Pleshek, 78, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
Born April 10, 1942 in Menominee, to the late Jack and Dorothy (Goldstone) Menard, she worked as a server at Johnny's Loaf & Stein and also Schloegel's for many years.
She enjoyed reading, puzzles, music, dancing, traveling, sending and receiving mail, keeping in touch with family and friends through social media, writing notes and hiding things everywhere. Above all, she loved time with family and friends, but her passion was her three granddaughters who were her world. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church.
Survivors include three children, Sandra Holmes of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Stephen Paulsen of Peshtigo and Michael Paulsen of Menominee, Mi.; three granddaughters; three brothers, James (Lanie) Menard, Paul Menard and John Menard; two sisters, Pat (Pete) Vermeltes and Sally (Ken) Kirt; a sister in law, Donna Menard and many in-laws; nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Menard.
Visitation will be held at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee on Thursday, July 2 from 1:30 p.m. until time of a Eulogy at 4:15 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 5 p.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church. Fr. Brian Gerber will preside with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established, any expressions may be directed to a family member.
