Rodney Kopish Sr., 80, of Greenville, S.C., passed away Saturday, June 20 at his home.
Born in Marinette, to the late Anthony and Mary Kopish, he graduated from Michigan Tech in 1961 with a Physics degree and married his wife Marlene that same year. He worked in the paper industry as an Engineer for American Can, Proctor and Gamble and Thilmany Paper.
A fun-loving man, he was a caring father of three, an avid Packers fan, loved the outdoors and enjoyed football, skiing, fishing, golf, tools, watching TV/movies and doing yard work.
He will be remembered for laughing until he cried, Green Bay Packers fandom, eating popcorn and ice cream and being a big John Deere fan.
He is survived by his wife Marlene; three children, Laura, Jeffrey and Rodney Jr. and five siblings, Monica, Tonya, Mary Jane, Christine and Daniel.
