THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Wausaukee Celebrates 4th With Parade, Fireworks
Issue Date: July 8, 2020
Wausaukee held their annual 4th of July parade on Saturday, July 4th. The parade was a little smaller than usual, but still had 15 floats, area fire departments including Wausaukee, Amberg, Athelstane, Crivitz, Middle Inlet and Wagne. The parade was led by veterans from Amberg, Athelstane, Green Bay, Middle Inlet, and Wausaukee riding a wagon. Many older cars, race cars, trucks and tractors rode in the parade. Many spectators lined the streets, young and old. Daze To Nights played in the afternoon by the Chippewa Bar and games were held in the park where the old school used to be. At 10 p.m. a fantastic fireworks display was held near Stumbris Park. Good celebration of America.
