Amber N. (Patton) Ikkala, 34, of Peshtigo, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 at home surrounded by her husband and friends.

Born May 24, 1986, in Eureka, Ca., to Russ and Dawn (Arnold) Patton, as a child, the family moved to Marinette where she graduated from Marinette High School in 2005. She worked as an insurance agent for Insurance Works. On Dec. 28, 2019, she married the love of her life, Shawn Ikkala in Marinette.

Spending time with friends was important to her and she also enjoyed time away on vacations, had a love for animals and was a very honest person.

She is survived by her husband, Shawn Ikkala of Peshtigo; her parents, Russ Patton and Dawn Arnold; two brothers, James (Courtney) Patton and Dakota Patton; a sister,  Sam Patton; her grandmother, Donna Enderby; her grandfather, Bob Arnold; in-laws, Steve and Gretchen Ikkala; a brother-in-law, Ryan (Amanda) Ikkala; a sister-in-law, Michelle (Anthony) Engelbert; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins and many good friends, including close friends, Emily, Jenny, Ericka, Lindsey and the Wilson family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

A gathering will be held at the Best Western on Riverside Drive in Marinette on Wednesday, July 22 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
