"My team came out strong against Iron Mountain," said Niagara Head coach Carol St. Arnauld. "We had some great volleys as Iron Mountain is known for their scrappy play. In the second set, we had some uncharacteristic missed serves and miscommunication, but my girls recovered and finished the third set with confidence. This is our fourth match in seven days and we play Laona Wabeno tomorrow. I'm going to continue to push my girls to elevate their play as we have an enormous amount of talent. Alyssa Cretton led with 23 kills."

Niagara Takes Loss to Laona/Wabeno
The Niagara Badgers took a loss to the Laona/Wabeno Rebels Tuesday night 25-19, 15-25, 25-11, 17-25 and 13-15.
"Tonight was a tough loss against Laona/Wabeno as my team played too inconsistent. When we led the momentum, Laona/Wabeno couldn't stop us. Then the very next game, we played timid at the net and our defense didn't get to position. It was a roller coaster night with definite highs and lows. My girls truly need to believe in themselves and not give up on the ball. Playing smart and staying aggressive is exactly what we need to do if we want to continue to play throughout tournaments. Alyssa Cretton led in kills with 18," said Niagara head coach Carol St. Arnauld
The loss saw the Badgers fight hard for five sets with Aylssa Cretton added up 18 kills, two blocks and 17 digs along with two aces. Bailey Peterson finished with seven kills, one block, three assists, 27 digs and three aces. Abby Wells got seven kills, two assists and 23 digs along with an ace.
