Gillett Wins Regional Over Coleman

The Coleman Cougars took a regional loss to the Gillett Tigers last week. The Tigers defeated the Cougars in four sets 19-25, 25-19, 17-25 and 12-25.

Leading the Cougars was Kylee Tadisch who scored eight kills, two digs, one assist and one block. Michaela Zeitler posted four kills, 19 digs one assist, one block and one ace. Madelyn Hoida got seven digs, 12 assists and two aces.

Laona/Wabeno Ends Crivitz's Regional Playoffs

The Laona/Wabeno Rebels took down the Crivitz Wolverines in Regional action last Thursday by quickly wrapping up their match in three sets in Crivitz 25-17, 25-7 and 25-2.

For the Wolverines Brooke McFadden posted two kills and seven digs while Hailee Gyger added four digs and five assists. Tayah Werner posted six digs while Senya Caine got two kills.

Oconto Defeats Marinette in D2 Regional

The Oconto Blue Devils who dominated the courts this past season continued to display their volleyball prowess by handedly defeating the Marinette Marines in Marinette 25-11, 25-16 and 25-7.

Cora Behnke posted 11 kills and 13 digs during the win while Hannah Moe added up 8 kills, 5 digs and 6 aces. Kate Bahrke got 30 assists, two kills, 2 blocks and five digs while Lianna Baxter finished with 7 kills and 3 blocks. Emma Walkowaik got 9 digs.

Suring Defeats STAA in Regional

The Suring Eagles defeated the St. Thomas Aquinas Cavaliers by way of a three set match 25-18, 25-10 and 25൛.

For the Cavvies Addison Pristelski posted five kills and five assists while Katie Knox got nine kills and two aces. Livia Benson got three kills and five assists.

Peshtigo Survives Regional With Oconto Falls

The Peshtigo Bulldog volleyball squad survived their first round of the post season by defeating the Oconto Falls Panthers over five sets. Peshtigo lost set one 25-15 before winning set 2 25-19. The panthers took a win over set three 26-24 before falling 25-16 in the fourth. The Bulldogs finished strong with a 15-8 final set.

Grace Wickman recorded a great game getting 21 kills, one block, one assist and 38 digs with her two aces. Allison Dudka posted 12 kills, five blocks and 10 digs while Allison Peters added eight kills, two assists and 21 digs. Emma Gilligan got eights digs, 20 assists and six aces.

Niagara Defeats Florence

The Niagara Badgers bagged a three set regional victory over the Florence Bobcats last week. Taking down the Bobcats 25-14, 25-18 and 25-20.

Leading the way for the Badgers was Bailey Peterson with 17 kills, one block, three assists and eight digs. Alyssa Cretton posted 15 kills, 14 digs and four aces while Morgan Borcherdt added three kills, two blocks, 28 assists, nine digs and two aces.

Niagara is defeated By Three Lakes

The Niagara Badgers played their final game of the season last week as they fell in the WIAA playoffs to Three Lakes over three sets, 25-12, 25-13 and 25-17.

Leading the way for the Badgers was Alyssa Cretton with 12 kills, one assist and 11 digs. Bailey Peterson posted seven kills, six digs and one ace while Morgan Borcherdt added 17 assists and five digs.

Oconto Tops Peshtigo in Regional Final

The Oconto Blue Devils handed the Peshtigo Bulldogs a three set loss in regional play this past week, taking the victory off a three set performance, 25-16, 25-18 and 25-18.

Peshtigo's Grace Wickman posted eight kills one assist and 16 digs. Allison Peters got two kills, one assist, eight digs and three aces while Blake Sharkus finished with 10 assists and seven digs.

STAA Defeats Lena

The Lena Wildcats could not overcome the St. Thomas Aquinas Cavalier in regional play as the Cavvies set down the Wildcats 25-12, 25-21 and 25-14.
