Joyce Elaine (Paulson) Anderson, 88, of Wallace, Mi., passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020 at the Luther Home in Marinette.
Born Jan. 4, 1932 in Wallace, to the late Victor and Grace (Braley) Paulson, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1950. On Aug. 15, 1953, she married Loren Anderson at the Menominee Covenant Church and he preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 2015.
A master gardener, she also enjoyed rosemaling and was a member of Bethel Mission Covenant Church where she was an active member of the Ladies Aid and served as a Deaconess. She was a former Menominee County Extension Homemaker of the Year and 4-H leader for sewing and horse clubs.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer (Jacob) Esch of Appleton; a son, Loren (Rachael) of Menominee, Mi; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; adopted daughter, Paula (Todd) Lieburn; and a brother-in-law, Curt Mumpy.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie; a son, Terry; two sisters, Betty Spitzer and Ruth Mumpy and a brother, Donald Paulson.
Visitation will be held at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., with her son, Loren Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Mellen Township Cemetery.
