Louise B. (Wiedemeier) Pelnar, 71, of Wallace, Mi., passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020 at home.
Born June 11, 1949 in Marinette, to Antoine and Luella Wiedemeier, she spent most of her life in Marinette and graduated from Marinette High School. She married Lowell T. Pelnar on Dec. 23, 1967 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Grover and they spent over 52 years together. She worked at Stephenson National Bank and Trust in Marinette for many years and was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening and traveling, but especially wintering down South and riding bike with her husband and the Forever Riders. During her time with the club, they made many lifelong friends and memories and captured those memories by being the club photographer. She was loved by all and will be forever missed.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lowell; a daughter, Ann Brennan (Rodney Smits); her daughter, Kara Brennan; a son, Joel Pelnar (Cathy Streble) and his daughters, Isabelle Pelnar and Jacqueline Braun and a brother, Ernie Wiedemeier (Brigitte) and their children, Rita, Michele and Brian.
A private family funeral service was held at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Monday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. with Vicar Katy Tamlanovich officiating. Burial was on Tuesday afternoon at Mellen Township Cemetery in Wallace. A Celebration of Life is planned for June of 2021.
