Carol (Olson) Hartman, 69, of Porterfield, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020 with family by her side.
Born April 4, 1951, to Melvin and Clara (Forsberg) Olson of Oconto, she graduated from Oconto High School in 1969 and married the love of her life, Jim Hartman on Feb. 2, 1970.
In 1981, they purchased Harmony Grocery and Feed. Years later after they decided to close the business, she worked as the secretary of Porterfield Lutheran Church, where she found her passion for music and her calling to become a Piano Teacher.
Besides music, she enjoyed gardening, crafts, decorating, but most importantly, loved spending time with the people that mattered most in her life, her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; three children, Jim (Jenny), Jeff and Kate (Travis) Reidell; five grandchildren; two sisters, Linda and Chris (Ken) Utech and a brother, Rick (Cindy) Olson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son.
A Celebration of Life will be held on a future date for all who would like to join. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
