Sonja Birgitta (Holmstrom) Morgan, 88, of Waukesha and New Berlin, formerly of Porterfield, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2020.
Born April 13, 1932 in Stockholm, Sweden, to Aldor and Astrid Holmstrom, she emigrated to the United States with her parents and her brother John in the 1950's. She married Ray B. Lease and had a son, Michael, but they later divorced. She then married Robert E. Morgan and had three more children, Vinnie, Sandi and Bruce.
She worked at Ansul from 1980 to 1992 and then did Meals on Wheels in Crivitz for a couple years. She lived in Porterfield until she was in her 90's and then moved to the Ludington apartments in Marinette. When her daughter Sandi passed away she moved to Waukesha and New Berlin for the remainder of her life.
She is survived by three sons, Michael (Sherrie Murnahan) Lease, Vinnie (Tracy) Morgan and Bruce (Denise) Morgan and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Holmstrom and daughter, Sandi Knudson.
