Teri L. Ziegler
Issue Date: December 22, 2020
Teri Lou (Elias) Ziegler, 65, of Cave Spring, Ga., formerly of Peshtigo, passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020 after a battle with cancer.
Born in Peshtigo, to Bill and Marian Elias, she graduated from Peshtigo High School in 1973. She earned a degree in Marketing at Patricia Stevens in Milwaukee and then a degree in Early Childhood Development. Later she then earned a Christian Counseling degree from Cape Christian Fellowship Church in Florida.
She married her husband John Ziegler in 1983 and they operated a lawn care business in Appleton. After their two sons, Jordan and Jared were born, they moved to Florida. In retirement, they then moved to Cave Spring, Ga. where they built their dream home.
With a passion for Christ and gifting to those in need, her love touched many lives. She ministered to many hearts through her daily Facebook posts and loved doing random acts of kindness. Her devotion to family and her firm belief in God is what helped her in her battle of cancer.
She enjoyed Bluegrass music and motorcycle rides off the beaten path with her husband.
Survivors include her husband, John Ziegler; two children Jordan (Karen) Ziegler of Arizona and Jared (Sam) Ziegler of Georgia; three grandchildren; her parents, Bill and Marian Elias; a brother Todd (Nancy) Elias; a sister, Tina (Dave) Baye and many nieces; nephews; cousins; aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mike and Marie Elias and Robert and Lucy Behnke.
A Celebration of Life in her memory will be held in Cape Coral, Fla., on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 at Cape Christian Fellowship. A private Celebration of Life will be held in Wisconsin at a later date to be determined.
To continue her legacy of random acts of kindness, any donations given will be gifted back to the Peshtigo Community in her memory. Donations can be sent to: Tina Baye, N7643 Pioneer Road, Crivitz, Wi. 54114.
