Virginia A. LouisIssue Date: December 22, 2020 Virginia (Ginny) A. Louis, 66, of Menominee, Mi., passed away suddenly Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 at home.
Born Jan. 31, 1954 in Perkins, Mi., the fourth child out of seven children, to the late Raymond Louis and Jane (Gibbs) Louis, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1972 and her high school passion was art. She never thought she was talented, but she could draw and paint very well.
After graduation, she worked in the Menominee area before moving to California and she returned to Menominee when her mother became ill. A compassionate person, she always helped those in need, was always there to help nurse someone back to health after a hospital stay, injury or whatever situation.
With a bubbly personality and ability to talk to anyone, she had many friends through the years. At gatherings, she made sure she talked to all that were there.
She worked for many years in various restaurants/ bars and would have many people stop to see her if they knew she was working. She had the gift of gab, loved music, especially live music, went to many concerts but her favorite was the blues. She had a zest for life, lived it to the fullest, was one of a kind and will be missed by many.
Survivors include many family members and friends, especially her sisters, Mary (Gerry) Cain, Patty Cain and Cathy (Dale Ederer) Miller, all of Menominee and Joan Louis of Kalamazoo, Mi.; many nieces; nephews and great-nephews and very close friends, Tracy and Jesse.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Louis (whom she shared the same birthday); a sister, Nancy Louis and two brothers-in-law, Jim Miller and Chuck Cain; a very special friend, Pat LeMay and her golden retriever.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to Covid-19.
