Leatrice "Nana" Hazel (Liptack) Krause, 82, of Crivitz passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.
She was born to the late Clarence and Hazel Liptack on February 24, 1938. She graduated from Crivitz High School in 1956. Leatrice married the love of her life Vernon Krause on November 3, 1956. The couple resided in Crivitz and raised two daughters.
She had a passion for drawing for her family, friends and community. She enjoyed watching the Crivitz Wolverines, Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers to just name a few. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Crivitz.
She is survived by one daughter, Lori Krause; four grandchildren, April (Nick) Kallies of Green Bay, Melissa (Tom) Moody of Abrams, Samantha (Dale) Cochenet of Abrams and Patrick (Kelly) Engler of Marinette; six great-grandchildren; Two sisters, Lois (Sam) Bero Green Bay and Carol (Raymond) Davis of Pensacola, FL and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernon Krause; daughter, Debra Engler; grandson, Thomas Engler; great-granddaughter, Ava Moody and step-son, Grant Krause.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at Aurora Medical Center and Breanna with Aurora Hospice Care for care and compassion for "Nana".
The family greeted relatives and friends at the Grace Lutheran Church in Crivitz on Saturday January 2 from 10AM - 12 Noon. The service was held at 12 Noon with Pastor Jonathan Zietlow officiating. Leatrice was laid to rest at the Forest Home Cemetery in Crivitz.
