
John S. Grutza III Issue Date: January 6, 2021 John S."Yosh" Grutza III, age 66, of Amberg, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
He was born in Chicago on September 21, 1954, son of John and Dorothy (Siedlecki) Grutza II. Yosh was united in marriage to Ruth Novak on August 11, 1973. Family and friends meant the World to Yosh. Whether it being cookouts, camping or anything else, he always enjoyed being around people, especially his grandchildren.
He loved his job as a truck driver and drove many miles. He appreciated an Old Fashioned, working in his garage, hunting and trips to Florida with family.
John is survived by his wife, Ruthie; three children: Michele (Matt) Arndt, John (Tammy) Grutza IV and Chad (Nikki) Grutza; six grandchildren: Brooke (Curt Hansen), Eric (Madi Walters), Johnny V, Natalie, Jax and Ember; one great-grandchild, Harper; his mother, Dorothy; two brothers and one sister: Tom (Cammy), Bob (Gwynn) and Barb (Randy) Lapacz; mother-in-law, Betty Novak and numerous extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Eric; father, John; father-in-law, Al Novak; sister-in-law, Sue Perry and brother-in-law, Steve Novak.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 12pm on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Wausaukee, with Father Frederick Sserugga officiating. Visitation was from 10am until the time of Mass at Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery this Spring. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting John's family with arrangements.
