Pound Village Board May Allow Chickens

At its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, May 9 Pound Village Board will discuss and consider regulations for a manufactured/mobile home park and other single-family structures, and an ordinance variance to allow chickens at 101 Colburn Street as requested by T. Messenger.
Curt Tisler, President of the Coleman Area Rescue Squad, will announce plans for an Open House at their recently renovated and expanded Rescue Squad headquarters.
The board will also consider applications for permits or licenses, review finances, pay bills and hear reports on April activities from the Fire Department, and from Scott Fuelle, who serves as Public Works and Utilities Director. Clerk/Treasurer Diane Patz is expected to report on the upcoming Spring Cleanup Day, Open Book and Board of Review.
