Mary Lou Dyson, 83, of Marinette, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Luther Manor in Marinette.
Born Aug. 27, 1938 in Milwaukee, to Francis and Mary (McCarthy) DeGrave, she spent her early life on the family farm in rural Hales Corners and later lived in the Walworth County communities of Lyons and Elkhorn, before coming to Marinette.
She spent many years in volunteer work with children and was especially active with 4H.
Survivors include her sisters and brothers, Marge Smetana, John DeGrave, Geraldine Schuster, Gerald DeGrave and Joseph DeGrave, mostly from the Crivitz area and nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Eddie DeGrave.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18 at Pine Hill Cemetery in Middle Inlet. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette assisted the family.
