Crivitz To View Long Range Plans For Fire Department

The Village of Crivitz Administrative & Development Committee will deal with a long agenda at its meeting starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17. At 7 p.m. that evening the Operations Committee is scheduled to meet with another long agenda. The committees take no formal action, but do make recommendations for consideration by the Village Board at its upcoming meeting.
Issues to be considered by the Administrative & Development Committee include a Certified Survey Map for Jerry Herrell, and an employee request regarding vacation use.
The committee will then go into closed session "to discuss clerk/treasurer resignation." If any action is taken during the closed session it will be announced after the return to open session.
Also on the agenda are Dyer Business Park signs, a request for funds for Operation Bandshell, employee handbook changes, job descriptions, an agent change for On a Whim, updates to the public depository and LGIP participation resolutions, liquor and cigarette license renewals, operators licenses and other routine business.
The Operations Committee meeting, scheduled to start at 7 p.m., will include a street use permit for Operation Bandshell; discussion on the fire truck plan and long range plan for the Fire Department; Landscaping, Security Cameras, Maintenance, equipment for parks, street signs, a project update on the sludge storage facility, discussion on possible purchase of 10 acres of land rom the Town of Stephenson; floor waxing at the Fire Department, WWTF, and Village Hall; the Don Brooks Park Parking Lot project; the Oak Street deed for the west half of the right of way from CSD to the village; animal control in regard to dogs, the recycling contract with the Town of Stephenson; job descriptions; the Dama AC/heating maintenance contract, and other routine business.
