The weatherman must be amending his evil ways. The 10-day forecast looks pretty good. There may be a little snow on Thursday, and then a little again Wednesday, Feb. 20, but it isn't supposed to be serious. And daytime high temperatures are supposed to be in the 20s and 30s for the next 10 days, with night time lows between 10 and 18 degrees - above zero!

By Jane Thibodeau Martin,
When I was younger I was perplexed at what seemed like an obsession some older people had with feeding birds. I also notice that in every single month there is several entries that have become ever so meaningful. T... MORE | SUBSCRIBE

Snow, ice, cold! Repeat. Cold, rain, ice, snow. Repeat. Will this winter ever end? Did we really have have our January thaw back in December, or did it come on Sunday, Feb. 3 and then go away again on Monday? High temperature in Green Bay on Sunday was reportedly 41 degrees - nearly 70 degrees warmer than the low of 26 below zero on Thursday, Jan. 31. How can a body adjust to changes like that???
One thing is certain. That old groundhog did see his shadow on Saturday, Feb. 2. Regardless, we her... MORE | SUBSCRIBE

By Jane Thibodeau Martin,
I graduated from Peshtigo High School in 1974. I think we had the largest graduating class ever at that time, with 109 seniors. Since then, we've scattered to the four winds both physically and philosophically. We are fortunate to have a powerhouse organizer, Robin, to keep us gathering for reunions every 5 years, but many, for various reasons, don't attend. Some of the classmates have passed away, some are thousands of miles away, and some are still in warm regu... MORE | SUBSCRIBE
