THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
New Church to Open In Wausaukee Mar. 5
Issue Date: March 1, 2017
Wausaukee--A new non-denominational church will open in the Village of Wausaukee on Sunday, March 5. The name of the church is The Message Community Church and it will be located at 703 Main Street, wausaukee, next to the Public Library.
The Lead Pastor is Wausaukee resident Pastor Augie Magestro. He stated, "I have wanted to plant a church here in our city for some time. My wife, Kim, and I moved up here about four years ago, so I could complete my studies and hopefully, one day, plant a church. I have felt a strong calling for the past year now, that I should begin a church and mission right here in Wausaukee."
The focus of The Message Community Church is to provide the city and surrounding area with worship services, Bible studies, Sunday school services and local out-reach programs.
Pastor Augie, a graduate of Ohio Christian University, received high honors during his entire tenor and was on the dean's list with a grade point average of 3.94.
Continuing he said, "God has truly worked in my life. He has turned me around 360 degrees, from a long time Executive Chef, businessman and entrepreneur, to a pastor. I would have never guessed that this is what His plan is for me. I now know that He wants this church planted, where everyone will be welcome to share fellowship and pray. It doesn't matter who you are, or where you are on your walk with God. Everyone is welcome," he added.
The church will use both contemporary music, blended with some traditional hymns as part of their services. Pastor Augie commenting on his style when he preaches stated, "I am a "Fire and Brimstone' kind of pastor. I want to make sure that our congregation leaves every service with something that they have learned. I want to share this wonderful Christian walk with everyone, and show them that we are loved, unconditionally, by our Lord and Savior. There is not a single person out there that cannot be part of God's Kingdom, and I want to let them know it."
The Message Community Church will host its first worship service on Sunday, March 5 at 9 a.m. There will be an open house following the service, with coffee and cake served. For more information contact Pastor Augie at 920-253-8084 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
