Alice V. (Netupski) Bauer, 83, of Stephenson, Mi., passed away Thursday, March 2 at Roubal Care and Rehab Center in Stephenson.
Born Oct. 15, 1933 in Crivitz, to the late Joseph and Veronica Netupski, she married Herbert Bauer in June of 1952 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1988. She worked at Emerson Electric and was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and the Crafty Crew in Cedar River.
She enjoyed cooking, pickling, knitting, polka dancing at Equity Park on Sundays and was active for many years helping with the Cedar River bridge walk and the hunters feast. She could talk to anyone like she knew them for a long time.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathy (Joe) Lesjack, Karen (Dave) Tickler and Karla (Steve) Blohm; a son, Kirt (Mary) Bauer; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert; two brothers; six sisters and a special friend, Harold Williams.
Visitation was held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson on Monday, March 6 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial followed at Precious Blood Catholic Church at 4 p.m., with Fr. Ron Timock officiating. Burial will take place in Spring in the Cedar River Cemetery. Acts of kindness or sympathy can be made to a family member.
