Town of Goodman Awarded M&M Grant
The Town of Goodman received a $750 Philanthropy grant from the M&M Area Community Foundation. The grant was presented by M&M's Executive Director, Paula Gruszysnki, at the Goodman Town Board meeting on Monday, March 20.
The grant will be used to enhance the area surrounding Goodman's new Veterans' Memorial, including new a metal sign designating the area as "Memorial Square." The grant will also be used to build benches for the area, which will be constructed using salvageable pieces from the original Veterans' Memorial built in 1919 but dismantled in 2015.
The Town of Goodman thanks M&M Area Community Foundation for this grant, and for their continued generosity to community projects in both Marinette and Menominee counties.
