Goodman Students in Reading Olympics
Goodman-Armstrong Creek students participated in the 2017 Reading Olympics which is a program in which students in grades 3-8 use their brains to compete. Participants work in teams where they have to read up to 25 books. Once the books are read the teams are eligible to compete at local competition.
Upon the completion of the local competition, the winning team from each grade level moves on to a regional competition in which they compete against the top teams from Florence, Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Niagara, North Central, North Dickinson, and Norway.
This is the first year that the Goodman-Armstrong Creek School District participated in the Reading Olympics.
