Viola (Mantai) Jashinsky, 87, Town of Brazeau, passed away Tuesday, April 4 at NewCare Convalescent Center in Crivitz.
Born Nov. 18, 1929 in Milwaukee, to the late Leo and Olga (Mann) Mantai, she married Stanley "Stan" Jashinsky in 1948 and he preceded her in death Feb., 22, 2013.
After retirement the couple moved to Rost Lake. She loved kittens and enjoyed crafts and traveling with her husband.
She is survived by a son, Gerald (Wendy) Jashinsky; a daughter, Patricia (Keith) Wegener; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three sisters, Eilane Breyhan, Gloria Clemte and Lydia (Warren) Pleyte.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; two sisters, Natalie "Patsy" Funkel and O-cillia "Tilly" Elliott and a brother, Paul Mantai.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Section Eight Baptist Church in Pound on Saturday, April 15 from 10 a.m. until the time of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow at First Baptist Cemetery in Pound. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman is assisting the family with arrangements.
