Judith "Judy" Marie (Swette) Corey, 71, of Peshtigo, passed away Monday April 3 at Rennes Health Center-West. Born Sept. 30, 1945 in Manitowoc, to the late Kenneth and Bernice (Vogel) Swette, she worked as a home health aide and enjoyed crocheting and watching the Packers and Brewers.
Survivors include three children, Rena (Louie) Vencato of Hancock, Mi., Rhonda (Dennis) Bromund of Marinette and Jerry Ledger, both of Marinette; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Barb (Dave) Sterzing of Marinette and a brother, David (Cindy) Swette of Menominee, Mi.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tiffany; a grandson, Tyler Saunier and a sister, Karen Schomer.
Family received friends at Anderson Kell Funeral Home in Menominee on Saturday, April 8 from 4 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 6 p.m. Pastor Andrew Williams officiated with burial in Forest Home Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
