Thomas J. Ausloos
Thomas J. Ausloos, 81, formerly of St. Cloud and Crivitz, passed away Friday, April 7 at Willowpark Place in New Holstein.
Born July 9, 1935, to Hildegard Dietz, he was adopted by Joseph P. and Lucilla K. (Dietz) Ausloos of St. Cloud, he attended St. Cloud Catholic Grade School, New Holstein High School and served in United States Air Force. He married Luella "Lou" J. (Koenigs) Kohlmann on May 4, 1957 and she preceded him in death on Oct. 27, 2009. He worked at Kohler Co. and later at Fond du Lac County Highway Department until retiring.
He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Amberg and former member of St. Cloud Catholic Church.
Survivors include six children, Daniel (Cyndy) Kohlmann, Phil Ausloos, Mary Birschbach, Karen (Dave) Christel, Joe (Stacey) Ausloos and Jayne (Norb) Engel; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Pat (Eugene "Bill") Will; a brother, Robert (Peggy) Ausloos; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Ausloos, Barbara Merten, Marilyn (Leland) Alley, Jackie Anderson and Judy (Eugene) Winkel; brothers-in-law, John (Lynn) Koenigs, Paul (Katie) Koenigs, Peter (Susan) Koenigs, and James Koenigs; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Hildegard (Tony) Ramos; his adoptive parents, Joseph P. and Lucilla K. Ausloos; his wife, Luella; a son, David Ausloos; a granddaughter, Abby and two brothers, Dick (Doris) Dietz and Cyril Ausloos.
Per his wishes, no visitation will be held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Isidore Parish-St. Cloud Church on Monday, April 17 at 5 p.m. with Rev. Larry Abler, OFM Cap officiating. Military Rites will follow with burial in St. Cloud Catholic Cemetery. Sippel Funeral Home of St. Cloud is assisting the family.
