Equity Club Re-Elects Officers at Annual Meet
At the Equity Club, LLC of Pound annual meeting on Monday, April 10 at 7 p.m. at Equity Hall, all five officers remained on the Board. Kevin Schutte is president, Russell Thoune-vice president, secretary is Judy Krueger, Jerome Frank-treasurer, and Mike Zeitler is a director.
The August 2016 letter was mailed to club members with a postcard to be returned to update membership. Records as of April 1 showed there are 170 members with seven new members approved at the meeting.
Reports were presented on the improvement projects. During the year included new restrooms, storage room and kitchen plans. The hardwoods were cleaned and thinned for future use and a new driveway was added.

The Equity Ball Park has seven Little League games for youth ages 6-12 stated by Jeremy Gross. A poster schedule will be available.
The well-known recreation center, Equity Park Hall and Bar, dates back to 1914 when 10 farmers organized and brought a threshing machine, volunteered their time to assist farmers in the area. They were successful through the years and maintained pride in their dreams.
