Ann G. Knope age 70, Crivitz resident passed away Friday April 14, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay with her family by her side.
She was born to the late Alois & Bernice (Kania) Rysticken August 1, 1946 in Manitowoc. Ann married Jon Knope June 25, 1965 in Manitowoc. The couple resided in Marinette where she operated a Ceramic Business and became a certified financial Planner, while raising her family.
She then moved to FonduLac where she purchased three Curves fitness franchises in Ripon, Tomahawk, and Rhinelander. She then retired to Crivitz Area with her loving husband.
She loved spending time with her family and friends. Ann enjoyed volunteer work including food pantry, St. Mary's Kitchen and a member of Crivitz Area Women Club. She was also active in the Lake Noquebay Lake Association and Ladies Moose Club.
Surviving are her husband Jon of 52 years; one son, Bryan Knope of Green Lake; three daughters, Barbara Knope of Fond du lac, Sheryl (David) Seefeldt of Rhinelander with three children (Peyton, Allyson, and Haley), and Lauri Scritsmier of Waynesville, North Carolina with two children (Ataya and Aneissa). Ann had four siblings, one brother, Jerry (Dianna) Rysticken and three sisters, Paula (Charles) Meisner, Karyn (Rick) Plater and Mary (Mark) Lucas.
Family will greet relatives and friends Saturday, April 22, at the Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz from 9:30 a.m. until going to St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11:30 for the Funeral. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Crivitz back to school program through the Stephenson National Bank.
