Jerald O. Schulz, 83, of Crivitz, passed away Wednesday, April 12.
Born Oct. 12, 1933 in Suring, to the late Fredrick and Esther (Nelson) Schulz, he graduated from Suring High School in 1952. He was a Caster Assistant at the Mirro/Foley Company in Manitowoc for 36 years, retiring in November of 1998.
He served in the United States Army from 1957-1959 and he enjoyed fishing and hunting, but especially time in the woods and tending his orchard.
He is survived by three children, David (Katie) Schulz, Christine (Peter) Hauterbrook and Paula Bergsbaken; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Roger (Marie) Schulz, Rita (Pete) Ryan, Juanita Firgens, Maxine (Tony) Dempski, Arda (John) Dullman, Judith (Don) Wanner, Richard (Carlotta) Schulz and Bonnie (Peter) Tuchscherer; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Schulz and Dolores Schulz; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Jeffrey Dale Schulz and Jerald Otto Schulz, Jr.; two brothers, Arvid Schulz and Bruce Schulz and a son-in-law David Katzenmeyer.
Visitation took place at Wiesner and Massart Funeral Home in Casco on Monday, April 17 from 9 a.m. until time of a funeral service at 11:15 a.m., with Fr. James Massart officiating. Entombment was held at Knollwood Memorial Park in Manitowoc.
