Coleman Legion Hosts Memorial Day Program

Coleman-The Kalbes-Seewald American Legion Post 280 of Coleman will present a Memorial Day Program at the Coleman High School on Monday, May 29 at 10 a.m. Veterans wishing to participate are asked to be at the school at 9 a.m.
The guest speaker will be Dennis Bratton, retired Army Desert Storm veteran. The Coleman high School Band and Choir will provide the music, there will be a video, various presentations and a special tribute to area veterans killed in action during the various wars.
A potluck luncheon will be held at the Legion Hall following the program. Baked chicken with all the trimmings, baked beans, coleslaw and beverages will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a hot dish, salad or dessert to pass.
New high-quality nylon flags are for sale from the American Legion: $18 (3x5), $23 (4x6), and $29 (5X8). Faded or torn flags can be dropped off anytime at the Coleman Piggly Wiggly, Ace Hardware or the Coleman Shell Station.
