Katherine Emma "Kate" (Lowis) Sauld, 86, of Pembine, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie.
Born June 8, 1930 in Athelstane, to Mark and Clara (Barstow) Lowis, she married Ernest Sauld in Pembine on Dec. 22, 1951.
Active in her community, she was independent and involved with Pembine Ladies Auxiliary, Senior Citizens, Rain Dancers and Fireman's Picnic volunteer.
She enjoyed cards, Scrabble, crossword puzzles, word search games and jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Leon) Potter of Kenosha and Laura (Daniel) Thiermann of Grafton; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayne and two sisters, Florence and Carol.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest and three brothers, Donald, Neil and William.
Family and friends may call on Saturday May 20 at Pembine First Presbyterian Church from 9 a.m. until time of a funeral service at 10 a.m. Pastor Don Landwehr will officiate with interment in Pembine Cemetery. Refreshments will be served after the funeral at Pembine Town Hall. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
