Sandra M. Jarvey
Sandra "Cindy" Marie (Malinowski) Jarvey, 71, of Oconto, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at home with family by her side.
Born May 28, 1945 in Ironwood, Mi., to the late Adam Lee and Claris "Kitty" Marie (DeRosia) Malinowski, she married John Jarvey on June 22, 1963.
Walking with a friend on a warm summers night, they walked across the French town bridge where she met her future husband. They talked and had their first kiss which led to 54 years of marriage.
She enjoyed all music, dancing, bingo, socializing, pool, snowmobiling, puzzles, cross-stitch, loom weaving, camping, biking and riding motorcycle with dad, but mostly loved her pet, Nakeesha. She went to two concerts in her life, Elvis Presley and MC Hammer.
She is survived by her husband, John; a daughter, Susan (Chad) Detaege; three sons, Dale (Heather) Jarvey, Aaron (Kathy) Jarvey and Sean (Jennifer) Jarvey; an aunt, Barbara (Dave) Kay; two sisters, Patsy Buscher and Debbie (John) Phillips; two brothers, Donald Story and Gary Wood and nine grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by twin brothers, John and Paul Malinowski.
Funeral services were private. Gallagher Funeral Home of Oconto assisted the family.
