Re: Sharing a Good Deed
An extra big thank you to the person ahead of us in line at the Marinette Dairy Queen drive-through on Memorial Day for paying for our meal as a "thank you to my husband for his service." He recognized my husband as a veteran as he was wearing his military cap.
A heartfelt thank you to whoever you are. I hope you see this as it was much appreciated. God Bless.
Bob and Laverne Rouse,

"Memories of Spring" (Dedicated to Josie and Rudy Lanich)
The singing of the songbirds,
The winds upon the hills,
Frogs croaking in cattail ponds,
The buds of tulips and daffodils.
The blossoms of the cherry trees,
The geese flying in the sky,
White clouds shaped with imagination,
A thousand questions wondering why.
The sunning of the tiger lilies,
The folly of the butterfly,
Dandelions growing in the lawn,
The yellow sun shining brightly in the sky.
The greening of the grass,
The trickling of a stream,
A child throwing a stick in it,
And it floats away like a swan in a childhood dream.
