Harold M. Aprill
Harold M. Aprill, 78, of Oconto Falls, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 23, 2017 at the Woodlands of Gillett.
Born Aug. 1, 1938 in the Town of Morgan, to Raymond and Linda (Gaertig) Aprill, he grew up on the family farm in Morgan and graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1956.
On Nov. 7, 1959, he married Janice Wolf at St. John's Lutheran Church in Morgan and lived all of his life in the Oconto Falls area where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and elk hunting trips to Montana. A hard worker, he always worked and most recently enjoyed working at St. Louis Trucking in Lena. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Oconto Falls.
Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Janice Aprill, Oconto Falls; two daughters, Cindy (Hurley) Spence, Md. and Mary (fiancé Bill) Ziemer, Fla.; a grandson; a brother, Gordon (Audrey) Aprill, Morgan; a sister, Darlene Schockey, N.M.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gary (Lorraine) Wolf, Bonduel, Judy Sell, Algoma, Joyce (Ed) Winkler, Gillett and Robert (Barbara) Wolf and John (Bev) Wolf, all of Oconto Falls; nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Bennett Ziemer and a brother-in-law, Lloyd Shockey.
Private family services with casual dress will be held at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls.
