Harriet E. Beffa
Harriet E. (Malfroid) Beffa, 90, of Dunbar, passed away early Thursday morning June 1, 2017 at her daughter's home.
Born March 23, 1927 in Rio Creek, to the late Fabian and Victoria (Jandrin) Malfroid, she loved gardening, bird watching and all wildlife. She will be remembered for cooking good fish fries at North Country Inn and Trout Haven Resort. She had a big heart and was loved by all.
She is survived by two children, Bonnie (Ed) Nowland and Bob Parins; five grandchildren and a sister, Eunice Spitzer.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Parins; recent husband, Duane Beffa; a daughter Pat Peterson and five siblings, Delores, Marie, Eli, Wilford and Delores "Girly".
Family and friends may call at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Pembine on Friday, June 9 from 10 a.m. until time a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Fr. Matt Settle will officiate with interment in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dunbar. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
