Vallarie (Friedland) Krzych, 81, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 after a long hard battle with lung disease.
Born June 23, 1935 in Mountain, to the late Eric and Pearl Friedland, she was a longtime resident of Marinette and graduated from Marinette High School in 1953. She married Joseph Krzych on Nov. 7, 1953 and he preceded her in death on June 23, 2012.
She cared for her husband and family while working at Wisconsin Telephone Co. and the former Kamin's Floral. They enjoyed the outdoors and time with their family at their cabin in Amberg.
She spent much time caring for her home, gardens with a white picket and enjoyed watching the birds visit the garden, but loved her family more than anything.
She had a close relationship with her brother and sisters and in 2014, sold her home to move closer to family.
She is survived by two daughters, Leesa Adams and Christi Mikolas and fiancé, Rick Alexander; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a brother, Germain (Louella) Friedland; two sisters, her twin, Rosalie (Joel) Settersten and Marilyn Kramer; many nieces and nephews and special family friend, Dorothy Van Hemelryk.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; an infant sibling and a brother-in-law, Raymond Kramer.
Friends called at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Friday, June 2 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral services at 4 p.m. Deacon Jerome Thetreau officiated with entombment in Forest Home Mausoleum.
