Eldean I. E. (Sjoquist) Wilch, 89, of Marinette, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Luther Home in Marinette.
Born April 30, 1928 in Kingsford, Mi., to Roy and Irma Sjoquist, she grew up on the family farm in the Town of Homestead and graduated from Kingsford High School. She moved to Chicago and worked at Illinois Bell Telephone Company for several years and later returned to Marinette with her children.
She was a Green Bay Packer fan and will be remembered for her smile and laugh.
Surviving are five children, Brenda Field, Fred (Val) Wilch, Roy (Lucy) Wilch, Gary (Robin) Wilch and Bruce Wilch; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Swen (Carol) Sjoquist and BillieJack (Bernie) Sjoquist and a sister, Carmen Eady-Rude.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Randy Wilch and two sisters, Beverly Keena and Donna Lee Sjoquist.
Friends called at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Tuesday, June 6 from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 6 p.m., officiated by Pastor Jason Heath of Grace Community Church.
