Doreen L. Hermsen, 52, of Green Bay, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017.
Born Oct. 3, 1964 in Green Bay, to Betty (Marquardt) Behnke and the late Raymond Behnke, formerly of Lena area, she graduated from West High School in 1983 and worked at Brennen Buick for many years and most recently at Nestle in Little Chute.
A lifetime active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, she cherished her faith in Christ her Savior. She enjoyed camping, fishing with her boys and reading, but mostly time at Crooked Lake and being with family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Nick of Green Bay and Travis Hermsen, serving in the United Stated Navy in Jacksonville, Fla. and their dad, Glenn Hermsen; her mother, Betty Behnke of Green Bay; a sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Bill Donart of De Pere; nephews and niece, Jordan, Luke, and Kristin; "adopted" brother and sister, Mark and Shannon King and their son, Walker; many aunts; uncles; cousins; other friends along with relatives from the area.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Behnke and many aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held at St. Mark Lutheran Church in De Pere on Sunday, June 11 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visitation continued on Monday, June 12 from 9 a.m. until time of the service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Chris Johnson officiating. Malcore West Funeral Home of Green Bay assisted the family with arrangements.
