Charles J. Stodola
Charles Joseph Stodola, 73, of Crivitz passed away Saturday, June 10 2017.
Born Nov. 15, 1943, to the late Laddie and Gladys Stodola, he graduated from Coleman High School in 1962 and earned a bachelors degree in education at UW-Superior. While at college he met the love of his life Cheryl Kresen. After college he spent 11 years in the Air Force and the couple then lived in Crivitz for 36 years.
He enjoyed gardening, playing the drums and being around the grandchildren.
He is survived by three children, Vicki (Scott) Seston of Menomonie Wi., Tamara Smith of Peshtigo and Jeff (Miku) of Calumet Mi.; nine grandchildren; four brothers and sisters, Judy (Vernle) Durocher of Coleman, Carole Disparti of Lake Geneva, Mike (Doreen) Stodola of Round Lake Beach, Ill. and Shelly (Steve) LeRoy of Champlin, Mn.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl.
Relatives and friends may call at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz on Saturday, June 17 from 9 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Crivitz. Burial will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Klondike.
