Shirley A. Redmann
Shirley A. (Champagne) Redmann, 77, of Pound, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Bishop's Court Assisted Living in Green Bay.
Born Dec. 13, 1939 in Silver Cliff, to the late Neary and Frances (DeForest) Champagne, she married William F. Redmann on March 27, 1962 and he preceded her in death in February of 1983.
She worked a variety of factory jobs including Mirro, Friday Canning and Bond Pickle. She enjoyed working as a Laundry Aid at NewCare Convalescent Center in Crivitz for 25 years until retiring at age 73.
She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, sewing, gardening and flowers, but especially time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are four children, Brian Redmann, Pound, Karen Redmann, Oconto Falls, Joseph (Tammy) Redmann, Jenks, Ok. and Cindy Heil (special friend, Jerry Kabacinski), Green Bay; two brothers, Donald Champagne, Pound and Gerald (Sue) Champagne, Coleman; a sister, Jeanette Baeder, West Bend; a sister-in-law, Joan Champagne, Pound; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren with another one in the near future.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ray (Pat) Champagne, Darrell Champagne and Ronald (Janice) Champagne; a sister, Pam Champagne; a sister-in-law, Patricia (Peterson) Champagne and a brother-in-law, Dale Baeder.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, 235 E. Main St., Coleman on Friday, June 23 from 4 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 6 p.m.
