Coleman"The regular meeting of the Coleman School Board was June 19 at 7 p.m. at the Board Room.
The agenda included president's welcome, meeting called to order, roll call, consent items of agenda, minutes, vouchers, questions from the public and reports by Principals and superintendent.
Discussion of items is on Building and Grounds Committee meeting, Policy Committee meeting and AGR Grade Level Goals 2016-17.
Matters requiring action are retirement of Jeanne Markiewicz, kitchen staff, Chris Gould, freshman/JV football coach, Bob Thielmann, MS football coach, Tim Bittner, MS assistant football coach, Katherine Schermer, prom advisor, and Heidi Delzer, senior class advisor.
Also hiring of Danielle Wyss, 3rd grade teacher, Sherry Christianson, 4th grad teacher, Jodi Karas, Data Information Specialist, Jodi Graetz, Data Information Specialists, Don Engebregtsen and Tony Gruber, Archery advisors, Chris Gould, MS football coach and assistant MS wrestling coach, Jeremy Gross, assistant MS football coach, Carrie Manning for girls JV basketball, Cindi Wautier and Laurie St. Louis, prom co-advisors and Kyle Johnson as volunteer cross country coach.
Approve 2016-17 budget revisions, CESA 8 contract, revision to WERMC, WIAA membership, CESA 8 delegate, FFA overnight officer leadership treat Aug. 3-7 at Woodruff, FFA overnight stay at Marinette County fairgrounds Aug. 24-27, donation from Cougar Booster Club, Cougar Country Business Association for FBLA.
Donations from Coleman-Pound Lions Club to FBLA, Student Council and Leadership Group, from Paul and Diane Mueller toward weight room, Pound Women's Club for environmental Center and donations of mulch from Thomas Wiedemeier Sawmill.
Others from Culvers to FFA, Cougar Booster Club for Elm PBIS, other hirings and resignations and district donations.
Suggest items for next meeting on July 17 at 7 p.m. will follow with pupil academic standards, staff handbooks and 2nd reading of policy updates.
Buildings and Grounds Committee meeting is at 6:30 p.m. with discussion on concession/restroom facilities at baseball/softball complex.
Policy Committee meeting is Monday June 19 at 6:45 p.m. on discussion of student fees, fines and charges and food services.
